The present corpus is the second book of the new library of “Chess Composition” and “Russian Chess
Composition Anthology” which the authors had in their mind. It is devoted to the national 3-mover
problem, in this field our authors starting from the second half of ХХ century came out to the leading
positions in the world.
The book broadly presents the work of outstanding representatives of this genre, starting with the
classics of Russian composition by Alexander Galitsky, the uncrowned world champion of the first half of
the century - Leonid Kubbel, the three-mover giants - Lev Loshinsky, Leonid Zagoruiko, modern
grandmasters who made the Soviet chess school famous. The reader can get acquainted with 768
problems of several generations of more than 160 Russian authors, classical and modern themes of the
genre.
The book is intended for a wide range of chess players interested in chess composition.
