This book has been written by the famous Iuri Akobia. The readers of his book, The Mate in Studies, published together with Grandmaster Gia Nadareishvili in 1990 and more than 3600 studies. Iuri Akobia has composed about 150 works in various genres and has won many prizes at the International competitions. This book describes 4232 studies that are systematized according to the pieces that make up stalemates. Stalemate pictures (about 2000) are given in separate diagrams. It can be stated that such a complete book on a chess composition has never been published before. This book is intended for chess amateurs as well as for chess specialists.
