This book is a tribute of respect and appreciation to the great chess artist Viktor Aleksandrovich Evreinov (1908-1984), who was a soldier in the World War II. His war career as a tank operator was marked with 12 government awards. Viktor Aleksandrovich composed about a hundred studies, many of which were awarded with prizes, honorary and commendable reviews at international and domestic competitions. Almost all books on studies contain works by V. Evreinov, which have long been classic and included in the golden fund of world and national studies. Nine of his studies were selected for FIDE Albums.
